The latest version of Visual Data’s content management platform Vida features an end-to-end cloud-based IMF workflow for premium TV and film content.
To be unveiled at NAB in Las Vegas this month, the new functionality automates IMF content ingest, archive and delivery. Components are stored together within a single ‘media set’ for streamlined delivery to thousands of distribution outlets.
Symon Roue, managing director of Visual Data said: ’IMF is fast becoming the exchange format of choice for the media industry and the latest version of Vida supports the format making it easy for our customers to process and deliver IMPs for OTT and Broadcast’.
Vida is a cloud based SaaS (software as a service) solution, removing the need for clients the need for companies to run complex applications on their own servers in their own data centers. Customers can log in from anywhere and to manage their media archive.
Used as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with Visual Data’s suite of media management services, VIDA is fully integrated with industry leading tools including Aspera, Telestream and Vidchecker.
